Treasurer tours Dolphins’ facilities

By Tenika Sanders

Federal Treasurer Josh Frydenberg has toured the Dolphins’ facilities at Redcliffe today, seeing firsthand how the government’s $8 million in funding has helped shape the newest NRL club’s base.

He was joined at Dolphins HQ by Federal Member for Petrie Luke Howarth and LNP candidate for Lilley Ryan Shaw, where they had the chance to see Moreton Daily Stadium and meet head coach Wayne Bennett.

In a Facebook post, Mr Frydenberg said: “Swapped a Sherrin for a Steeden with a behind the scenes look at the NRL’s newest club, Redcliffe Dolphins, with my colleague, Luke Howarth.

“Great to chat with Wayne Bennett, a legend of the game. Even this Melbourne Storm fan will be cheering for your success in 2023.”
