Plans approved for new homemaker centre

A new homemaker centre is to be built in Moreton Bay after plans were approved for a high-profile 3.7-hectare site.

Norhart Developments’ proposal for land at 463 Anzac Ave, Rothwell, include a 8539sqm showroom and service station.

There will also be nine tenancies, ranging from 238sqm to 1967sqm and two food and drink outlets with drive through facilities.

A 2500sqm storage warehouse is planned along with 365 parking spaces on the site which has 122m frontages on to Anzac Ave and Buchanan St.

A U-turn from Anzac Ave is included in the plans, as well as a future connection to the Leisel Jones Dr roundabout behind Bunnings.
