It’s free, it’s live – and it’s local!

By Tyler Nash

Music in the Park is back and tuning up for the first free concert of 2023.

Ultramarine Pde Park in Griffin will host the four-hour program, which has five performers, on Saturday week (March 18), from 1-5pm.

There will also be food trucks (Baked Spuds, Whatcha Brewing and Doin Donuts), fairy floss, bubbles and lolly bags.

North Lakes Lions will run the community sausage sizzle, there will be free face painting and a onsite artist painting the event.

“This is going to be a cracker for families, with free entertainment,” Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Division 4 Jodie Shipway said.

“There’ll be a real festival vibe, so all you need to bring is your picnic rug, chair and some sun protection.

“This event will be a showcase of local talent featuring local musicians, so come on down to support our emerging artists.”
