Free QAGOMA Art Pop-Up For Kids in North Lakes!

By Tanayah Wakefield

To celebrate the Gallery of Modern Art turning ten, the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art’s Children’s Art Centre worked with Australian and international artists to create special activities for the Gallery’s tenth children’s book 10 Ways to Make Art.

One of these activities, created with Julie Blyfield, will be presented within an Art Pop-Up For Kids at Westfield North Lakes. Julie Blyfield creates beautiful jewellery and vessels inspired by the Australian landscape. She enjoys collecting plants from different environments and is fascinated by their interesting shapes and textures. Kids will make their own wearable art piece inspired by the plants on display!
