$700,000 splash pad opening soon

By Tenika Sanders

A new children’s Splash Pad is planned to open next month at one of Moreton Bay’s major aquatic centres.

Construction of the $700,000 zero-depth splash pad at Burpengary Regional Aquatic and Leisure Centre is on course with the floor of the new attraction now in place.

The aim is now to complete the work and have the splash pad ready by mid-December when the school summer holidays start.
