Repairing unsafe car parks – for free

By Tyler Nash

Two Moreton Bay businessmen have launched a free program to tackle unsafe car parks at community organisations, charities, schools and small businesses.

Daniel Mikus and James Rolph – co-owners of road infrastructure company MR Roads in North Lakes – have started a Community Carpark Safety Program.

Available across South-East Queensland, MR Roads collects unused, excess asphalt mix and uses it to such as potholes to repair and upgrade car parks.

This stops the asphalt going to waste and provides a “practical solution that benefits the environment and the community”.
