Redcliffe Show to open with half-price Friday

The 73rd Redcliffe Show opens tomorrow, with half-price admission on Friday for adults and pensioners and free entry for children (under 14 years).

The annual three-day event (June 24-26) is one of the largest shows in South East Queensland, attracting about 20,000 people each year.

Night program highlights includes the dazzling Walter Whip and the Flames and Thunder and Hooves show which is a journey back to the dark ages with war, galloping horses, love, fury, fire, swords and fiery arrows with Game of Thrones vibe.

There’s also the Eljay BMX Stunt Rider show, Aussie FMX Motocross and fireworks on Friday and Saturday night at 8.30pm.

During the day, you can take your pick of horse jumping and traditional ring events, championship dog show (Friday, 9am), woodchopping (Saturday and Sunday), cattle and poultry judging (Saturday), grand stock parade (Saturday), car show judging and parade (Saturday), and Kgari Kelpie Stud dog jumping (Sunday).
