A little taste of Italy in Woody Point

By Tanayah Wakefield

A little slice of Italy has come to Woody Point with the opening of a new pizzeria, gelateria and wine bar.

Eat Pizza Co and Oh Gelato, located at the Woody Point Marketplace on King St, opened their doors to the public just before Christmas as part of their soft opening strategy.

This weekend though, the wider community is invited to come on down, with Woody Point Marketplace owner Shaneal Sharma looking forward to welcoming everyone.

“This is a really awesome place for foodies to come,” Shaneal said.

“We wanted to create a really cool place for people to eat good food and listen to some good music.

“For us, the most important thing was the food, not so much the décor – food is the number one priority, and then we looked at creating a fun memory making atmosphere.”
