Featuring Thrill rides, Animal Farm, Train Rides, Laser Tag, Face Painting, Balloon Animals, Plants, Food Stalls, Showbags, Arts & Crafts, Devonshire Tea, Baked Goods, Toys, Books Sideshow Alley, Prize Wheel, Performances on the Main Stage, Headline Act “Smashing Bumpkins”, Bush Dance, plus heaps more!

Sunsuper Riverfire celebrates the end of three weeks of Queensland’s largest arts and cultural event with a pyrotechnic extravaganza set to an almighty soundtrack celebraing 1989, Riverstage’s birthday year.
This is one of the most electrifying fireworks displays in Australia, fired by Foti Fireworks Queensland from multiple bridges, barges and city rooftops, with aerobatics from the Australian Defence Force.
Crowds can tune in to Triple M’s live broadcast or Channel Nine’s exclusive television coverage.
SUGGESTED VANTAGE POINTS – Kangaroo Point Cliffs, River Terrace at Kangaroo Point, South Bank, Victoria Bridge, Captain Burke Park, Wilson’s Lookout, Howard Smith Wharves, and the City Riverwalk including the Riverside Centre and Eagle Street Pier all offer good views of the fireworks.

A 5km run – You against the clock. The only person you compete against is yourself. The run is for our own enjoyment. Please come along and join in whatever your pace! parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around the world. They are open to everyone, free, and are safe and easy to take part in.
These events take place in pleasant parkland surroundings and encourage people of every ability to take part
Please register before your first run. Only ever register with parkrun once. Don’t forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode (request a reminder). If you forget it, you won’t get a time.
