The Lakes College Fun Run

Join the North Lakes College on Sunday 14th August for a fun run! The Fun Run is now a major event on the local calendar having grown from just 200 competitors in 2007 to over 1200 in 2014. This event is for all ages and is pet and pram friendly! The course starts and finishes at The Lakes College (located on College Street, North Lakes) and offers a variety of individual and team events over 2km, 5km and 10km courses. While many participants originate from the Moreton Bay Region the event also attracts runners from the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and the greater Brisbane region. The run was founded as an initiative of The Lakes College Community Association as a means of developing a sense of community amongst the students, staff and families.
