Redcliffe Festival – Bay Of Boats

By Sophie Anderson

Join Redcliffe this year in a colourful celebration called Jetty Fiesta. This family friendly event will include lighting installations, laser shows and a huge fireworks display! All local vessel owners will be invited to participate in the Redcliffe event by taking part in the “Bay of Boats” initiative. Bay of Boats will activate and light the bay as anchored spectators have the opportunity to watch the iconic laser show and fireworks spectacular from the comfort of their own vessel. Vessels are encouraged to anchor in the water in the area around the Redcliffe Jetty between 3-9pm. This event will also include a “Best Dressed Boat” competition and all registered vessels will be asked to decorate their boat with fairy and solar lights. The lucky winner will receive a $1,000 fuel voucher! For more information on participating in the “Bay Of Boats” initiative click here.
