The Common Good has launched its first appeal at Caboolture Hospital with two major projects to help the maternity suite and children’s ward.

An initiative of The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation, The Common Good wants to raise $100,000 for a special incubator bed for critically ill new-born babies and refurbish the children’s play area.

The medical research fundraising group is seeking support from local businesses and community pillars across the region with every dollar going to the appeal.

More than 3000 youngsters are admitted to Caboolture Hospital Children’s Ward every year and often the smallest need help from life-saving equipment.

The Dunlop family, from Narangba, is among those indebted to the hospital’s services and staff.
