New business good for the soul

By Tyler Nash

A new North Lakes business is creating a one-stop shop for natural healing and therapies.

The brainchild of homeopath, nutritionist, craniosacral therapist and Reiki master Sarah Kottmann, Soul Spectrum brings together a practitioners focussed on wellness and wellbeing.

Soul Spectrum builds on the success of Sarah’s original business, North Lakes Homeopathy, which she launched almost a decade ago with the goal of making a difference.

Lifetime of homeopathy

Sarah, who was a runner-up in several categories of last year’s Ausmumpreneur Awards, was introduced to homeopathy as a child by her mother after suffering excruciating eczema as a baby.

With baby Sarah in and out of hospital and constantly taking antibiotics, her mum turned to homeopathy for help.

“Mum used to use homeopathy on us as kids and because it worked, she kept using it,” Sarah explains.

Working together

It’s a tradition Sarah has continued, and she says creating a space that’s home to a range of therapists allows them to work together for optimal results.

“I wanted to really create a place that was supportive of practitioners to support their business and grow and also for patients, for cross referrals.

“We collaborate together to support people’s health.”

Sarah says she already knew many of the practitioners, while others approached her once news of Soul Spectrum spread.

Collaborative approach

Home to naturopathy, Reiki, astrology, kinesiology, pulse electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy, homeopathy, quantum healing and art therapy among others, Soul Spectrum is a haven for those seeking natural therapies.

Sarah and her fellow practitioners opened their doors last Friday, with sound bowl healing sessions, demonstrations of the PEMF device and readings from Alison Callan’s book, The Conscious You.

“We also have a shop, with lots of small businesses that want to show their products.

“We’ve got crystal necklaces, candles and calendars created by artists.”

Grand Opening

Soul Spectrum’s grand opening is scheduled for January 31 at 10am, with crystal sound bowl healings, health talks about hormones by Wendy Burke, healings by Mandy Heritage using Shaman drums, a PEMF demonstration with Frances Deveer, a numerology mini talk and an astrology mini talk.
