NAIDOC Week in Moreton Bay Region

NAIDOC Week, from July 3-10, celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Celebrations are being held this week and next across the Moreton Bay Region, embracing the theme ‘Get up! Stand up! Show up!’.

They are an opportunity for everyone to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living culture on earth. To find out more, visit naidoc.org.au

NAIDOC Week Museum Trail

July 3-10

Take part in a self-guided museum trail to learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who have contributed to recent and long-lasting change in our communities.

Pine Rivers Heritage Museum, Old Petrie Town, 901-949 Dayboro Rd, Whiteside.

It can also be seen at Redcliffe Museum, 75 Anzac Avenue, Redcliffe.
