FREE Outdoor Fitness Group in North Lakes

Join the North Lakes community this Spring with some fun fitness sessions at Lake Eden! Over 240 fitness sessions will be delivered across our region’s parks as part of the Moreton Bay Regional Council’s “Spring in your step” program. All activities include group fitness sessions, yoga, zumba, pilates and much more! The fitness sessions are designed to encourage people of all ages to get fit (including sessions for children, mums and bubs).

According to Councillor Darren Grimwade, the “Spring in your step” program was part of Moreton Bay Regional Council’s commitment to promoting community health.

“Spring in the Moreton Bay Region offers sublime weather, which is perfect for getting outside into our beautiful parks, taking in the fresh air and doing something positive for your mind, body and spirit,” Councillor Grimwade said.

“Let’s come together this spring and add one hour of exercise into our weekly routines. That’s my challenge to everyone, and it’s a challenge we can all enjoy!”

The “Spring in your step” program will run from 10th October – 4th December 2016.
