Big names return for Rockin’ show

By Tenika Sanders

This year’s Rockin’ 4 the Homeless line-up will bring three Aussie rock supergroups together for one big show to raise money for the community’s most vulnerable.

The Hoodoo GurusThe SuperJesus and Def-FX have signed on to perform for free at the gig, which will be held at the Eatons Hill Hotel on July 17. It will also feature seven local bands including Team Utopia with rock guitar legend Bob Spencer, who has played with The Angels, The Skyhooks, Rose Tattoo, The Choirboys and others.

Event director Dan Nebe and his team of dedicated volunteers organise the annual event, which raises money for The Breakfast Club of Redcliffe.

The organisation provides more than 12,000 meals, emergency food parcels, housing and service information, supplies, phone charging and a safe space for connection and support for isolated and vulnerable homeless people facing complex issues each year.

Tickets are on sale from 9am, June 1. Numbers are limited due to COVID-19 capacity restrictions. Visit eatonshillhotel.oztix.com.au
