Beyond the Bricks – Financial aid & support for the fire affected communities

By Tenika Sanders

We have all been shocked and saddened by the bushfires and drought that have ravaged Australia in recent months. The loss of human life, wildlife, homes and bushland has been remarkable.

Areas of South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales are the worst affected so far. Our thoughts and prayers have been with those affected through this difficult time.

Of course, like many of you, we desperately wanted to do something to help, in the most effective way we could.  27 real estate agencies and bodies have joined together to collectively support charities who will make a real difference. Led by Ray White, this initiative called “Beyond the Bricks” is a 3-phase plan to help those in need and be there for the communities as they heal. The first phase will aim is to provide immediate relief and support to those in need. The second phase will support the re-build of family homes and individuals lives and the third phase will be helping to restore those affected communities by providing support for local business and promoting tourism.

The team at Ray White North Lakes have set up a Fundraiser for the Australian Red Cross. To donate, simply click the below link and follow the prompts.

In the meantime, we hope everyone stays safe and that better conditions come our way!
