Give a little good!

By Darren Suhle

Give a little good!

I was recently struggling with ideas of news which people would find not only entertaining but also educational, also something which would cause people to stop and read. I came across this article and I thought it was definitely something worth sharing!

The article is called ‘Feel good Feb’ and I cannot believe I hadn’t heard of it yet. Feel good Feb is bringing Random Acts of Kindness into the spotlight & aims to inspire communities to get involved. Feel good Feb has been holding feel good events for 4 years, with nursing homes, disability services and members of the community coming together with the common goal of making others and themselves feel great and helping where they can!

Extensive research shows that something as small as leaving veggie seeds in your neighbours letter box, or helping an elderly person with their groceries can boost your morale. Acts of kindness help us slow down within our usually busy lifestyles and reminds us that we all share the common desire to be connected to a community and one another.
